The required tools:
apt install git build-essential autoconf
Get the source:
git clone https://github.com/royhills/arp-scan.git
The prerequisites:
apt install libpcap-dev
Build it:
cd arp-scan
autoreconf --install
./configure
make
Test it:
make check
Install it:
sudo make install
Use it:
This example does a basic full scan of my /22 network
arp-scan 192.168.8.0/22
